WHO WE ARE
Yank Technologies, Inc. is a wireless power innovator based in Brooklyn, New York committed to developing long-range, high power wireless charging technology that is safe, simple and requires no human contact. Yank Tech has patented antenna and amplifier developments in resonant inductive technology, and provides scalable solutions for variable ranges of power and distances.
Yank Tech has developed a wireless power ecosystem expanding from automotive, industrial, consumer, and space sectors. In the automotive industry, the company has developed novel wireless power systems, such as seamless door removal and complete cockpit reconfiguration, for leading automotive OEMs. Yank Tech has additionally expanded into the space sector, with multiple NASA contracts to develop robust wireless power solutions for the Moon, enhancing system reliability and enabling planetary exploration. Yank Tech also boasts significant traction in the industrial sector to enable true autonomy by charging AMRs en route to reduce downtime and by wirelessly powering and communicating quality control test functions in real-time. Recently, Yank Technologies was awarded a US Army Phase II Contract to advance wireless charging for warfighter's conformable wearable batteries.
US Army Applications
Resonant inductive charging is a form of wireless power transfer that maintains high system efficiency across mid-range distances due to the 'Q', or quality, of the antennas. The transmitter (Tx) or wireless charging product generates a safe electromagnetic field that is captured by a receiver (Rx).
The antenna quality is the barometer for the antenna's intrinsic efficiency or its inductive reactance divided by its resistance. The higher the intrinsic 'Q', the more potential coupling between the Tx and Rx, which in turn leads to more power being delivered to the receiver at a further distance.

WIRELESS CHARGING FAQ
How is our technology different from other wireless charging ones out there?
While there are many wireless charging solutions in the market today, they have limited charging distances and are often physically tethered to your device to use. Our technology can power devices over the air and be implemented for various applications and power requirements. Our systems can also be designed for extremely rough environments from factories on Earth to habitats on the Moon.
Why is wireless charging so important for Industry 4.0?
There is currently a trend for manufacturing facilities in developed countries to automate more of their processes to be more cost-competitive with low-cost labor countries. Given the current geo-political environment whereby the US is attempting to diversify its supply chain and bring more manufacturing processes back to the US, these wireless power systems can make this transition more economically viable and in turn increase US productivity and its national security.
Is the Technology Safe?
Yes! We are one of the only companies in the world to receive FCC certification for our contactless wireless technology and have strong domain expertise in developing safe, regulatory-compliant wireless power systems. We have developed novel high intrinsic quality resonators, dynamic controls, and matching networks to power devices further and more reliably than ever before.
Can the technology provide both power and signal?
Yes! Our technology is capable of providing both power and information. We collaborate with our customers to implement not only the wireless power system, but also new wireless communication protocols to develop the best customer experience.
Are we seeking partnerships?
Yes! Yank Tech is currently seeking both automotive and industrial partners. If you are interested in understanding more about how we can tailor our technology to your needs email us at partnerships@yanktechnologies.com!
